Her first book, “Voice-The bouquet of feelings”, is a collection of about 40 poems, establishing her success as a poet. The book has won a couple of accolades and awards from the Ukiyoto Q2 Literary Awards 2022 as the Poet of the Year. Other honors for this book include the Criticspace Literary Awards for 2021. This book is an attempt by the poet to give voice to feelings, as could have been felt by others in certain situations.
From the lighthouse to the tree or as a random person’s musings, these poems deal with the author’s musings or philosophies about life, with a touch of pathos lingering through it. Meanwhile, part of the book also deals with the poet’s wonder at nature or even ponderings on random things and happenings laced with a bit of humor. As the readers go through the poem, they may also find that a few contain a prelude section, while most do not. This was done because some of these poems or verses were written with a specific idea in mind, while the rest were just passing thoughts or inspired by the pictures and conversations in a WhatsApp group.
