I knew that I would do it one day. I always knew it. But as the years went by and I didn’t make use of my writing skills, I thought that publishing a book was a dream far gone by and so was my writing journey. I was too busy with family, work. I had every plausible excuse ready on why I wasn’t writing more. And before long it was a forgotten dream. I had started writing a thriller novella, which is still a WIP by the way, moving even slower than at a snails pace.
Days were months, months were years and then the pandemic hit. Working from home, nothing much in terms of recreation, it’s a time when I started to pen my poems. First it went on my social media and then I decided to go ahead and publish it.
My journey with the publishers is another story to tell. Maybe for some other time. So, here now I am a published poet with 2 solo books and also contributed to 3 anthologies.
